2 lbs. Salmon Fillets
3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Chopped Garlic
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. White Pepper
1/3 cup Cabernet Sauvignon Wine
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
Soak a piece of cedar plank in cold water for one hour (weighting it with something heavy.) Place salmon fillet in a long shallow dish. Mix together all ingredients, pour over the salmon fillet and marinate for at least 30 minutes. Place salmon skin-side down on plank. Put the plank directly on preheated gas grill. Close the lid and cook over medium high heat for about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and cook another 15 minutes depending on thickness. Cut into pieces and serve salmon from plank.
