Roasted Cedar Plank Salmon
First, soak a piece of cedar plank in cold water for 1 hour (weighting it with something heavy). Place a 2-lb. salmon fillet, skin side down, on the cedar plank and season it with a liberal coating of Montreal Steak Seasoning and drizzle the fillet with maple syrup. Put the plank directly on a pre-heated gas grill. Close the lid and cook over medium high heat for about five minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and cook another 15 minutes depending on thickness. Cut into pieces and serve salmon from the plank.
