Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs with Sweet BBQ Beans
Take hot dogs and beans to the next level with bacon, cheese and a meaty mixture of sweetened barbecue beans. Because it’s an all-in-one meal, serving is easier too.
- 15 min.
- 1 hrs.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain. Cool, cover and chill until heating time.
- About 1 hour before serving, stir together cooked beef and onions, pork and beans, kidney beans, butter beans, ham, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar and mustard. Cover and heat on medium setting for 1 hour or until heated through.
- Meanwhile, wrap each hot dog with a bacon slice. Secure ends with toothpicks. Grill bacon-wrapped hot dogs over medium heat until bacon is browned. Toast hot dog buns on grill, cut side down, until light brown.
- To assemble, spoon ½ cup bean mixture onto each toasted bun. Top each with about 2 tablespoons cheese and a bacon-wrapped hot dog.
