Chai Latte Brownies

Bring home the taste of your favorite coffee house with espresso and chai-flavored brownies. Clever upgrades to a boxed mix create a fudgy base, perfect for topping with homemade chai whipped cream.

  1. Line an 8×8×2-inch baking pan with foil, leaving about 1 inch of the foil extending over the edges of the pan. Grease foil; set pan aside. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions, except add cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and cloves to the batter before mixing.
  3. For chai whipped cream, in a chilled mixing bowl combine whipping cream, 1 tablespoon chai latte powder and sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on medium until soft peaks form.
  4. Serve brownies topped with chai whipped cream. If desired, sprinkle with additional chai latte powder.
