Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Standing tall on a crushed chocolate cookie crumb crust, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake challenges even the most disciplined to decline the invitation to indulge.

Makes 18 servings



1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. In a small bowl, combine crushed sandwich cookies and butter; press firmly onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla until well-blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.  Pour over crust.

4. Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until center is almost set. Loosen cake from rim of pan with a sharp knife; cool completely before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
