Grilled Banana Bread-Strawberry Sandwiches

Rich chocolate-hazelnut spread and fresh strawberries make an appealing flavor combo for this sweet dessert. Try other fruit and nut butter combinations such as almond butter and fresh peaches.

  1. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat.
  2. Spread each bread slice with 1 tablespoon chocolate-hazelnut spread. Layer four slices with ½ cup strawberries. Top with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches. Brush top and bottom of sandwiches with melted butter.
  3. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes or until bread is toasted. If desired, sprinkle powdered sugar over top before serving.
