Grilled Pork Loin au jus Sandwiches
When thinly sliced, grilled pork loin makes wonderful sandwiches for cookouts. This version gets a steakhouse au jus dip for extra flavor and a tasty slaw on top.

- Prepare a charcoal or gas grill with greased grill rack for direct grilling over medium heat on one side and indirect heat on the other. For the rub, in a small bowl combine salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.
- Rub pork loin with olive oil and prepared rub.
Grill over direct heat for 10 minutes or until well browned on all sides, turning as needed. Move loin
to indirect heat and grill until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, about 45 minutes. Remove loin
from grill. Cover loosely with foil and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare au jus mix according to package directions. Thinly slice the pork; place pork and au jus in an 8×8-inch aluminum foil pan and keep warm on the grill. Butter cut sides of buns and grill for 30 seconds or until toasted.
- Serve pork in buns topped with apple slices, and slaw. Serve sandwiches with au jus.
