Directions

  1. If salted rim is desired, place salt on a small plate. Moisten rims of eight margarita glasses with lime wedge. Dip rims in salt and set aside.
  2. In a pitcher, combine orange-flavored liqueur, tequila, lime juice and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Fill each rimmed glass with ice and pour margarita mixture into glasses. Garnish with lime slices.

Blackberry Jalapeño Margaritas: Cut a small jalapeño pepper into slices. Add slices to 11/4 cups tequila and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain mixture. Prepare classic margarita base as directed in Step 2, using the jalapeño infused tequila. In a food processor add 1 cup fresh blackberries. Cover and puree until smooth. Strain mixture and add to pitcher. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with fresh blackberries and additional jalapeño slices.
