Summer Pasta Salad

Packed with fresh veggies, this colorful salad makes a tasty addition to any picnic or potluck. Chilling overnight gives the dressing time to infuse the pasta with delicious flavor.

1. For dressing, in a medium saucepan whisk together vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Heat over medium heat just until boiling or until sugar dissolves. Cool.

2. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

3. In a large bowl, toss together pasta, green pepper, cucumber, onion and tomatoes. Pour dressing over pasta mixture; toss gently to coat. Stir in cooled vinegar mixture. Cover and chill for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
