Q. How much is the Marsh Weekly Specials App?
A. It’s free.
Q. What device do I need to get the Marsh Weekly Specials App?
A. Any iPhone or Google Play mobile phone.
Q. What’s a home store?
A. That is the Marsh store location you pick for weekly circular specials, prices, images, store phone number and directions. You can change your home store anytime by going into the store locator button and putting in a new ZIP or City, State.
Q. How do I get a home store?
A. Pick a store location to choose as your home store by tapping the locator button. To pick the store closest to your current location tap on the current location button at the top right hand corner (it looks like a compass outline). Or enter a Zip code or [City, State] combination, e.g. Bloomington, IN (use the two letter state abbreviation). Chose your best match from the results by tapping on the list of store locations to select your home store. Slide the “off” button to “on” and make this location your home store.
Q. How do I add items to my list?
A. Tap on the Specials tab to see all the categories with items on special. Then choose the category to view products; scroll up and down until you find what you want, tap “Add to List” and watch the item fall into your list. Click on the product image to get details or to increase the quantity of items.
Q. How do I add items not on special to my list?
A. Tap on List, on the top right hand screen you’ll see “Add Item” button. From there you will be able to add any item. If you chose you can put it in a category so it is organized by aisle.
Q. How do I cross an item off my list?
A. After you put an item in your cart tap the check on the right hand side. It will turn red and drop down to the bottom of your list. If you want to un-check an item, tap on the red check and your item will be put back on your list within the aisle category.
Q. How do I synchronize my Marsh Weekly Specials App with my Marsh.net shopping list?
A. You don’t have to do anything. Your Weekly Circular list is synchronized automatically. If you delete something in the store it will reflect on the App and on Marsh.net.
Q. What if I make a list and the prices expire or I change my home store?
A. Your list will still be there, but the prices won’t be valid and won’t appear
Q. Why does it say “Offer Expired” next to my item?
A. The “Offer Expired” item was left on your list from a previous circular and is not on special this week. The new circular has launched with updated specials.
Q. Why does it say “Offer may not be valid in this store” next to my item?
A. The “Offer may not be valid in this store” item is from your previously chosen “Home” store. Specials may vary from store to store.
Q. What can I do if I have a smart phone that is not an iPhone or Google Play device?
A. You can go to marsh.net using any mobile phone to view our mobile site to get all of the same functionality of the Marsh App.
Q. When I email the list to some else can you guarantee they will do the grocery shopping?
A. Sorry, you’re on your own.
